HEIC to JPG is a free online tool that converts HEIC photos to JPG. We built it for a very common problem: you take photos on an iPhone, and then a website, a Windows PC, an online form or a print shop refuses to open them.
Privacy first
Most online converters upload your photos to their servers. We think that is unnecessary for something as personal as your photo library. HEIC to JPG converts every photo inside your own browser using WebAssembly. Your photos are never uploaded, stored or seen by anyone, including us.
How it works
- When you open the converter, your browser downloads a small image decoder (based on the open-source libheif library).
- Your photos are decoded and saved as JPG on your device, several at a time, using the processor cores of your device.
- The finished JPG files stay on your device until you save them.
What we measure
To improve the tool we count conversions anonymously: country, device type, browser, file size, conversion time and whether the conversion worked. We never store IP addresses, file names or any part of your photos. See our Privacy Policy for details.
